It’s Year 1’s turn to take over the mixing bowls. Will they roll out a record-breaking total or crumble under the pressure?

Please stop by the cake sale and enjoy delicious goodies!
Year 1 parents
Please bring your cakes in the morning to the kitchen (in the extension) or in the afternoon directly to the tables outside.
Cake sale need around 6 people to volunteer (from Year 1 parents)
Here are some guidelines:
- Golden rule! No nuts or seeds are allowed!
- PRICES: Your class will be setting prices but keep them accessible! We suggest starting at £1 for biscuits or £2 for small individual cakes' portions & cupcakes. Price them fairly.
- You can think of selling whole CAKES, trays, you can do bundles, assorted plates… that will allow you to set higher prices and sell them faster!
- You can also think of selling drinks with the cakes.
- Do you want to suggest a theme, bring music, deco? Feel free to find ways to get more cakes to sell and more people buying them! :)
- Include healthy options like fruits!
- Allow the kids to get involved! Their engagement is key! They can help you with baking, cake decorating, and making signs for the day!
ON THE DAY, FoB cake sale representative will give you a set of supplies for the sell (napkins, plates, table cloths if you want to) and Adam (site manager) will set the tables out for you.
PAYMENTS and PROFITS: there will be 2 FoB reps with card readers to assist you with card payments, and you will get 2 boxes with change. We recommend you assign one person responsible for those. PROFITS (cash + card) will be informed to your class through the class rep and will be announced widely.
RESULTS CHART: will be in the notice board of the school so you can see where your class is in the competition.
